Mercury Man
Mercury Man was a superhero published by Charlton Comics in their Science Fiction anthology title ''Space Adventures'' after they stopped publishing Captain Atom stories in the early 1960s.
In many ways, Mercury Man was similar to other nuclear-powered superheroes of the time, such as Captain Atom, Doctor Solar, and Nukla. ==Publication history==
Mercury Man would appear in ''Space Adventures'' #44 and 45 (February and May 1962), and was the cover feature for #44. The first story was reprinted in AC Comics ''Men of Mystery'' #32. Art was by Rocke Mastroserio. The second story had art by Charles Nicholas and Sal Trapani. The first three episodes of Mercury Man adventures (new 2015 creation) by Tommy G Warren / Spiderwood & Storyworld for Mercury Man Comics series has been launched.
In early 2014 Mercury Man was acquired by Tommy G Warren / Spiderwood Productions and Storyworld Media for development with all copyrights and trademarks. Plans are being made to re-launch Mercury Man and companion "Zoom" as a new action hero that returns to earth to fight for (with the help of Dr. Erika Penn) for peace in the world where terrorist and criminals want to change the Liberties and Freedoms enjoyed by peaceful Governments.
